To those who are professionals who study issues in urban transport, I want to say the following. Due to the fact that this invention will necessarily appear on the roads of different cities around the world, I do not have the slightest doubt that this mode of transportation will supersede buses, trams, and trolleybuses in the cities of the future. The second level of this mode of transportation has huge potential to provide an efficient, economical, safe, environmentally friendly, comfortable, and maneuverable conveyance that is independent of the general traffic flows on arterial roads. That is because the lane separator between lanes satisfies all of the requirements for the creation of this mode of transportation. It will inevitably take its rightful place as a modern urban form of tran...

Whether the Battle of Endor, the Battle of Scarif, or countless other engagements between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire, if you look closely enough you can typically spot at leas tone GR-75 transport. The question of "why" these transports are brought into battle is truly one of the great mysteries of Star Wars, as they appear to be absolutely and totally useless. From Star Wars Rebels, to Rogue One, to Return of the Jedi, on today's Star Wars Lore video we'll look at Star Wars Legends and Canon, to try to determine the usefulness of the GR-75. http://www.engvid.com/ I GET OFF a train, bus, or subway. But: I GET OUT OF a car or taxi. I RIDE a bike and a motorcycle. How do you get to work or school? Learn how to use phrasal verbs to talk about transportation, then test yourself on the quiz at http://www.engvid.com/transportation-vocabulary-phrasal-verbs/ Hello. How are you? Today, we're going to learn about getting around. This means taking public transportation or talking about how you got somewhere or how you're going to go somewhere. All of the examples I've written in the past tense because somebody might ask you, "How did you get here?" "What? I flew because I have a magic carpet. That's how. Why?" We have different ways of getting places. Verbs: You can say, "I took a 'bus', a 'train', a 'cab', or a 'taxi'." "Cab" and "taxi" are the same. Or you can take a "plane". So with all of these nouns -- "plane", "cab", "taxi", "train", "bus" -- you're going to use the verb "took". There are no exceptions. You cannot say, "I rode a bus. I rode a train." It's wrong. "Rode" means that you were on top of the bus or on the train doing some bus surfing -- didn't happen. I hear people say this a lot, "How did you get here?" "I ride car." "Wow. What were you doing on top of the car?" If you "ride" something, you're always on top of it. What can you -- what can you ride? I can ride a bicycle. So "ride" literally means you're on top of something. Tell me what you can ride. You can ride a bicycle, a motorcycle, a scooter, a moped. If you're on top of it, you're riding it -- a horse. "I go by car." No, no, no. These, unfortunately, are wrong. We don't say, "I go by car" or "I ride car." We say, very easily, past tense of the verb "drive": "drove". "How did you get here?" "I drove." You do not need to say, "I drove by car" because you're not driving a bus; you're not driving an airplane; you're not driving a train. Very simply, you can say, "I drove." Another thing that I hear people say is, "I go by foot." "One foot? You have one foot? Did you hop here the whole time? You must be tired. You go by foot? Wow." Maybe you only have one foot. That's cool. You should drive or take a bus. Another thing: "I walk on foot." This means that you take your hands, and you literally put them underneath your feet and you walk -- if this is your foot -- you walk on your hands. This is painful. I do not recommend this. I would not literally want to walk on my hands. Please don't walk on your feet. Do not walk on your hands. "I walk on your foot" would be, "I'm sorry" -- walk on hands, walk on feet. You'd be stepping on your feet, and you would never get anywhere. You just want to say, "I walked." "How did you get here today, Ronnie?" "I walked." Another thing that's really confusing in English -- and I understand why -- is when to use the phrasal verb "got on" or "got off", and when to say "got in" or "got out". So as an example, we would say, "I got off the train." Let's write that down. Or you can say, "I got on the train." Also, we use this with a bus. So you can say, "I got on the bus" and "I got off the bus." You don't need to use extra words. Like, you don't want to say, "I got off on the bus." You don't want to say, "I got the train off." Unnecessary. Please do not use extra words when you say this. You're just going to say, "I got on" -- the verb -- the noun. Or "I got off", the noun. "Train", "bus", and the "plane", or an "airplane". So think about this: What does -- or what do trains, buses, and airplanes have in common? No? Nothing? No? Okay. A train, a bus, or an airplane has many people. You can think of it as something that is public or very large. So a train, a bus, or an airplane, you have to pay. It's really big, and you can fit many people on it. So you're going to get on or get off something that is very big. You're going to get off something that's very big. Or if it's public transportation, you can fit many people.

Mercedes F 015 The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is held throughout Las Vegas at the beginning of every year and is one of the biggest electronics show in the world. Companies from all over the world meet to show off their latest innovations. Car companies started coming as exhibitors about a decade ago, and this year almost every major car company showed up, including Ford, Honda, Hyundai, and Mercedes. The latter company debuted several self-driving vehicles, including the F 0158 full concept car that is a myriad of futuristic technological innovations. The car is fully autonomous and is powered, in theory, by a fuel cell hybrid powertrain for up to 684 emission free miles. The interior features a lounge style cabin with swiveling front seats that automatically turn to the optimal angle for entering and exiting the vehicle. A remarkable concept to be sure, but it will take a long time to get from being technically possible to being commercially viable. We probably won’t see the F 015 anytime soon, though it's a safe bet that we will see self-driving vehicles in commercial use in the near future. Autonomous technology will change the way cars are used, from the way they are driven to the way they are integrated and used within society. 5. AV Road Trip The Alliance for Transportation Innovation or ATI announced plans early this year to have a coast to coast autonomous vehicle road trip that will begin in late January in Atlanta, Georgia. Stops on the AV tour include New Orleans, Arlington Texas, Los Angeles and San Jose California. ATI hopes to bring autonomous and other innovative technologies into the transportation industry as quickly as possible to safely and efficiently deliver goods while eliminating the human errors that cause horrific and fatal accidents across the world. 4. RideTap Developers launched a pilot for this real-time ride options app in Portland, Oregon in May of 2016. The app could offer users a list of ride options in their area, from a bus to an Uber to a bike sharing option and find them the quickest possible, or most affordable route to get the user where they need to go. The app is hoping to capitalize off of the trend of more and more young people being inclined to use public transportation or ride sharing options as opposed to owning a vehicle. 3. Robot Taxi in Paris Sea Bubbles will be flying on the Seine River in Paris, at least for test runs this spring. A yachtsman and a Swedish windsurfer came up with this bubble shaped transportation alternative that can fit four passengers and a driver. The vehicle would be an app and work much like Uber or Lyft. So far funding has been promising as the creators have been able to raise over five hundred thousand dollars from various backers, including the French government. The boats, which look like something out of Minority Report, float two feet above the water and can reach speeds of nearly twenty miles per hour. Once the company fully develops the Sea Bubble, they hope to go to other cities like London or Geneva. The propulsion system of the craft is powered by electricity, making it zero emission and soundless. If tests go well and the company that built the Sea Bubble secures more money, we could be seeing them around the world in the future. The creators hope to come up with a viable version of the Sea Bubble that is entirely operated by a robot. 2. TomTom Go TomTom has been making car navigation products for years, and their newest GPS device, which the company unveiled early this year is incredible. The TomTom Go has software that can be updated using Wi-Fi with no computer connectivity. The device can learn driver’s habits and predict their destinations. It becomes familiar with regularly driven commutes and can provide alternate routes based on traffic situations. They also integrate with smartphones by reading text messages out loud and allowing hands-free calling. 1. Pilotless Drone The EHang personal minicopter is designed to transport one human being without the use of a pilot. The passenger would choose a point on a map to travel to, and the drone would comply. All that the passenger would have to do after that is sit and wait to arrive at their destination. The vehicle was unveiled early last year at CES and caused quite a stir. While experts are unsure if the vehicle and transportation system would catch on with a price tag of at least two hundred thousand dollars, the drone was given test clearance by the state of Nevada in June.

So personal transport gadgets have recently become the next big thing and it gives us a clue to what we might expect in the future. My guess would be that one day it will completely normal to see people whizzing through the streets on some high tech gadget, hopefully one that actually hovers. But if you don't want to wait, there are some pretty decent gadgets available right now. As always I want to give a big shoutout to viewer The Driver for suggesting this video. --------------------SECOND CHANNEL------------------- Check out my second channel More5! for funny, weird, interesting news, along with the latest trending topics within the YouTube community. More5! - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPohYrquhWwA56kiaxJRe9A Videos Shown: Solowheel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8soCqO5ok6U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqjFfP5cGN0 Hoverboard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFEKxzuaA1k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DPXyCaTMnw Boosted Board: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Inx8RptP0cI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_aWM3jWE8o WalkCar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvG_356itPs Electric Bicycle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm5KqDsqnqE ------------------------------------------------------- 5) Solowheel It is gyro-stabilized so its not that difficult to ride, and can actually be pretty useful. To me it is more of a fun gadget than an actual vehicle one would use for their daily commute, but I may be completely wrong. You would love it in a big open space, like a college campus, riding from class to class but probably hate it on a rainy cold morning, in rush hour, with hundreds of people to dodge and avoid. And lets face it, you'd have to have some pretty big balls to take it on the road with cars driving right by you. So while it looks really fun to ride, and has its uses in certain situations, I doubt it will ever become a mainstream method of travel. 4) Hoverboard This bit of tech blew up in popularity thanks to many celebrities, youtubers, and other social media stars using them in their videos. It was a must have product until it blew up again. Only this time they literally started blowing up, making them obviously dangerous. This caused a huge backlash, many large retailers like Amazon banned them from sale, airlines refused to carry them on flights, and sales went down drastically. They are now viewed as dangerous, and even if I purchased one now from a respectable company, I would still be a bit nervous leaving it to charge overnight. If I owned a hoverboard company, I would change the way my boards look, to make it appear as a new version and rid my boards from the bad reputation. 3) Boosted Board They are no where near as popular as the hoverboard, but that's probably to do with the fact they are much more expensive. This is a proper vehicle, you can use in your everyday life. Don't take my word for it, just hop over to Casey Neistat's channel and watch him blast through the busy streets of New York on a daily basis. In fact lets face it, Casey Neistat is one of the main reasons the boosted board has become pretty famous and you can see their appeal, they can achieve speeds of up to 22mph, you control them with a remote in your hand, and can travel you a good 8 miles on a single charge. 2) WalkCar The walkcar is basically a tiny laptop sized platform with 4 wheels and an electric motor. It works by shifting your weight in the direction you want to go in. Whats really cool about this tiny gadget is its specs. It can fit in any backpack and weighs only about 2.5kg which is about 5 and a half pounds. Secondly it can reach speeds of about 6.2 mph. Thirdly a full charge can give you about 7.2 miles of range. However there are a few downsides. I can imagine its tiny wheels wont be useful on anything that isn't a flat smooth surface and its price will be about $800. 1) Electric Bicycle Electric bicycles are nothing new. They have been around for years. They are still very expensive compared to a standard bike. If you forget about the price and just see it for what it is, Its a vehicle which is easy to control, easy to steer, easy to brake, and can move you at some very decent speeds. The only downside is bikes aren't the most portable vehicle. You still have to chain them up, and with the rise of bike thefts in most cities, you can easily lose a couple thousands dollars in a matter of minutes. Even if you installed some kind of key ignition, its still a bike and the thief can just pedal away. However despite that, out of all the personal transport gadgets out there, sometimes the old fashioned way is still the most effective. ------------------------------------------------------- Music: "Unwritten Return" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ -------------------------------------------------------

It will inevitably take its rightful place as a modern urban form of transportation. It is just simply too tempting to be able to travel without traffic jams at any time of the day or night. I can imagine that someone would like to ask me if I am personally ready to undertake the introduction of this type of transport in practice, that is to say, to see the project through all stages from the design and construction of the first prototype to the testing and certification of the industrial product. And I can answer that I am not only ready, but I consider it my direct duty as the creator of the idea and patent owner (the person with the formal right to realize the invention) to produce second- and third-level gyroscopic transport. I've been developing this idea for two years now, and I'm prepared to bring it to fruition in practice. First, we will finish designing the entire model range of cars and transit stations. And then, if everything goes according to the plan, in 2020 tens of thousands of fans from different countries around the world attending one of the big international sports competitions will be able to see and even ride for free the most luxurious urban gyro monorail trains, the transport of the future. I propose that the gyroscopes in these cars will be initially powered by flywheels that are wound-up in the morning. They will continue to be powered throughout the day from the energy supplied by solar panels that are mounted on the roofs of the cars. My hope is that this will be the most important transport event of the next two decades. I can say without exaggeration that this mode of transportation is compatible with the human habitat, with the spaces in which city dwellers recreate. It can pass alongside parks, squares, and pedestrian paths, and in some cases it can even ride alongside people strolling down wide boulevards. After all, it is absolutely safe in both ecological and physical terms. It cannot cause serious injury. The most it would do if it hit a person who is standing on the monorail would be to push him out of its way. In a word, Anna Karenina would not have been able to commit suicide if she threw herself in front of a gyro monorail, no matter how much she wanted to. Therefore, we should classify this vehicle as a mode of friendly transport. It is a vehicle that is always nearby and is never late. It makes no audible noise, and when you travel on it, you will be able to relax in one of its comfortable seats. Finally, a few words about the commercial side of the proposal. Dahir Insaat considers the gyro monorail to be a priority business project. Starting today I am ready to accept offers to license this mode of transportation. I am prepared to sell everything from a manufacturing license to the exclusive right to operate this vehicle in specified countries. Respectfully yours, Dahir Semenov. https://www.abw.by/news/180549/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fc1dUo8mpNM https://www.popmech.ru/…/234278-girokar-russkogo-grafa-shi…/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3FEKOE6RG4 www.seakeeper.com/products

Why does the Rebel Alliance bring GR-75 medium transports with them into battle? Whether the Battle of Endor, the Battle of Scarif, or countless other engagements between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire, if you look closely enough you can typically spot at leas tone GR-75 transport. The question of "why" these transports are brought into battle is truly one of the great mysteries of Star Wars, as they appear to be absolutely and totally useless. From Star Wars Rebels, to Rogue One, to Return of the Jedi, on today's Star Wars Lore video we'll look at Star Wars Legends and Canon, to try to determine the usefulness of the GR-75. The GR-75 Medium Transport, often referred to as the Rebel Transport, was a cargo hauling ship, which was often used by the Rebel Alliance. It was lightly armed, and generally not very useful. The helicopter can be out of ground effect (out of ground effect), or in it. The screen effect is observed when the helicopter hovers close to the ground, where the air flow produced by the propeller, is reflected from the surface. Thus, the thrust of the aircraft is increased at the same angle of inclination of the blades. The effect is most pronounced in calm weather on a flat, hard surface. The display effect is observed at a minimum, provided that the distance between the housing and the substrate equals the length of the blade. In this case, the pilot must increase the overall move to stabilize the freeze. This reduces the real power that can employ a pilot, then there is a potential height of hovering at reduced accordingly.
